End of the “Recruting Road” : Reasons 9 and 10 Why High School Football Student-Athletes Should Get STEALTH-Rated

We’ve reached the end of the “The Recruiting Road” series on the top 10 reasons coaches, parents and student athletes should use the STEALTH-Rating System. We’ve talked about how STEALTH separates itself from all other rating services, providing high school football student-athletes with a fair and objective evaluation of their ability to be college ready.

Let’s take one last look back and review the top eight reasons high school football student-athletes should be STEALTH-Rated. We’ve almost answered all of the challenges associated high school football student-athletes have when it come to being rated objectively:

  1. No matter what your skill level is, no matter what position you play, every player can be STEALTH-Rated.
  2. A player can actually begin the rating process himself.
  3. You don’t need to attend a camp or combine to be STEALTH-Rated
  4. There are no football camps or combines taking place at the present time. College coaches did not visit high schools this year. High school football recruits will not be visiting college campuses this summer
  5. High school student-athletes mistakenly believe they can get recruited based on their social media alone
  6. Playing for a smaller high school, surrounded by bigger powerhouse high schools causes players to be overlooked
  7. You can be rated no matter the city, state, or country you reside in. STEALTH is applicable world-wide so long as football is being played at the high school, or junior college level, and there is access to the internet
  8. STEALTH-Rated athletes range from rising eighth-graders, to junior college

Number 9 and 10 are two of the more important reasons for high school football student-athletes to get STEALTH-Rated:

9. STEALTH helps identify student-athlete performance gaps that vitally important in the recruiting process

Social media, highlight films, and big gold stars all tend to point out the positive in high school football players. While STEALTH is equipped to support each of those assets, STEALTH also points out realistic performance gaps or deficiencies. These “deficiencies,” [areas of improvement] if and when corrected, will help improve athletes’ overall rating, thus improving their opportunity for scholarships.

10. STEALTH allows the student-athlete to be recognized, and rewarded for positive action off of the field, as well as on it

Subjective behaviors such as positive work ethic, and character development are objectively assessed with STEALTH. College coaches are always going to ask the question, “is he a good kid?” Most high school coaches verbally give college coaches positive feedback and verification that the player is “a good kid.” With STEALTH, high school coaches can not only verbalize that the player is, “a good kid,” but they now have an objective means of assessing the work ethic and character of a player with STEALTH.

Hopefully, our articles have taught you how STEALTH generates its unique and patented 5-Star rating. The key highlights of the rating assess the student-athletes’ work-ethic, character, academic, physical attributes and on-field performance achievements.
