Mark down the date: Friday, August 27, 2021. It’s historic because it signifies the inaugural athletic contest for the Palm Beach Christian Preparatory [PBCP] Saints, an all boys high school. PBCP is one of only a few all-male schools in the entire state of Florida and they will take the field against Boca Raton Christian School tomorrow afternoon at 4:00 PM EDT at Boca Christian’s ‘Blazer Field.’

Both teams open their seasons tomorrow with much on the line. The Saints obviously want to make additional history by winning their first ever varsity high school football game. The Blazers do not want to make history losing to a program that has never played a varsity high school football game. Either way, there is plenty of season left to play in the coming weeks. Neither team will here of that right now though.

Palm Beach Christian Preparatory School is the life long dream of Willie and Sofia Snead. Willie Snead III is the head of the family and also serves as the pastor for the school. Snead III grew up in Bell Glade, Florida and eventually found his way to The University of Florida where he played wide receiver for the Gators. He was drafted in the 12th round by the New York Jets in 1989. Both his sons, Willie IV and Isaiah have followed Willie III in the game. Isaiah is a defensive back currently in his senior year at Stevenson University in Maryland. Willie IV is currently a wide receiver with the Las Vegas Raiders. The Sneads, along with their entire family (Willie IV, Isaiah, and Sofia) have been intimately involved with the creation and development of the school since it was first thought of several years back. They will all have great big smiles on their faces when the game begins tomorrow, no matter the outcome.
