This weeks matchup between the Colts and the Eagles is a District Game, cross town rivalry and the annual ‘Pig Bowl’!
The Colts come in with a 3-1 record overall with a 0-1 record in the District. Last week they played a district game against the Deerfield Bucks and lost 30-0. They will need to get their running game going with RB Nate Stubbs and the big guys up front.
Douglas Eagles are at home this week after a big victory last week playing away against Cooper City High School 43-3. Junior QB Goodman got back into the groove as his veteran offensive line dominated up front. And the Eagles defense shut down the Cowboys and didn’t allow a score on the ground or in the air.
This matchup always has an exciting ending with the losing principal having to kiss the pig after the game…
