PANTHERS REMAIN UNBEATEN AND RETURN TO THE SFC CHAMPIONSHIP NOVEMBER 14

Usually meeting the same team two weeks in a row makes for a tough rematch. And it was, at least for the first half, until the Panthers took control and put up an additional 20 points the second half knocking out the Eagles in the 1st round of the playoffs to remain undefeated and head back to the SFC Championship Game. They will get a rematch, from last years Championship Game, against Calvary Christian. The Panthers meet Calvary during the regular season this year and soundly defeated them.

Calvin Jackson Jr.The Panthers made school history this year by going undefeated 9-0 and now move to 10-0 going into the Championship Game. HSPN Sports has had a chance to watch and broadcast, to the nation, a team of senior playmakers. And one certainly stood out last night and for the second week in a row has earned the HSPN Sports ‘Player of the Game’ award, Calvin Jackson, Jr.  Jackson probably set another school record last night by scoring on a 85 yard Kickoff Return, caught 2 TD Passes from Miller and on a reverse Threw 1 TD Pass.

Miller threw for over 260 yards, while Charter’s defense shut down St. John Paul to negative yards on the ground. St. John scores came from long pass receptions. Another workhorse in last night’s win was Sr. Kalen Carson as well as the Panthers Offensive and Defensive fronts.

HSPN Sports Director of Broadcasting, Ryan Stoutt, has had the opportunity to not only produce and broadcast the Panthers this season for all of their home football games, he also had the chance to spend time in the classroom with the players each week taking them through the HSPN Character Training Program.
